What is AMC 8 Math Prep?

The AMC 8 preparation is a great way to help middle school students enhance their skills with AMC 8 training. The AMC 8 mock test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions for exam practice. This 40-minute AMC 8 mock test is designed to promote the development and enhancement of the skills required to solve AMC 8 problems. No AMC 8 problems require the use of a calculator. In fact, calculator use has been banned since 2008.

AMC 8 math is scored based only on the number of questions answered correctly. There is no penalty for getting a question wrong. Instead, each of the AMC 8 problems has equal value. Therefore, a student who answers 23 questions correctly and 2 questions incorrectly receives a score of 23. The AMC 8 math test is not a standardized test. This means that no school has to take it, but some schools choose to offer the test. Schools that choose to offer AMC 8 training mainly do so to encourage educational growth in mathematics.
