At Momentum Learning, we specialize in preparing students for a multitude of math contests held nationwide. Our dedicated faculty members provide personalized guidance throughout the problem-solving journey, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and strategies needed to excel. Through engaging instruction and illustrative examples, we instill essential concepts, fostering a deep understanding of the material. Our affordable tuition options combined with our track record of success make us the ideal choice for students gearing up for prestigious math competitions like MATHCOUNTS, AMC8, AMC10, AMC12, AIME, and USA(J)MO.
All instructional materials from the camp, including recorded sessions, will remain accessible for an additional three months following the conclusion of the camp. Zoom and Canvas platforms will be utilized for delivery and access to these resources.

I started taking Momentum Learning classes since 6th grade, and every single class I have taken has taught me so much about math and science. The teachers are very kind and eager to teach, and it is this passion that also inspires me to learn new things and become better academically. Momentum Learning is not just a great place to learn, but also a great community of learners. I have met people and teachers that relate a lot to me and through the process of talking to them, I have learned more things in these classes than I have learned anywhere else. Amazing teachers! My son has been taking classes from Momentum Learning and he has improved so much. Before Momentum, he was taking competition math classes from other places. But what a difference after we found Momentum. The classes are clearly structured from the beginner level and up. We just finished CM301 which is the perfect level for us. Dr. Nal had taught me exceptionally well in the course of Advanced Algebra. In the online class, it was very interactive and students were able to connect with others and the teacher. No, different instructional material and practice problems will be used for the summer. Very often, students cannot master the concepts on their first, second, or even third try, so iteration and repetition may be necessary. These are difficult concepts that go well beyond what is taught in school.
Our structured curriculum is focused on teaching students and improving their problem-solving skills. The main goal is not to prepare for any specific math contests, though mastering the knowledge will help students do well in math contests. Students should take classes based on their current level, rather than where they want to be. You need to learn how to walk before you can run, regardless of how old you are.
We would strongly advise you to take Level 1 as Level 2 covers hard AMC10 questions and Level 1 covers medium difficulty (problem 15 – 20) AMC10 questions.
In most cases, the answer is NO. Usually it takes one year or even longer to move up a level. There is a significant difficulty level increase between each level.

Recordings are available in case you miss a class or simply want to watch it again. All class materials are accessible via Canvas for 6 more weeks after the last day of the camp.

If you are reasonably comfortable with Pre-Algebra, you should take Introduction to Contest Math. 3 different sessions will cover the basics of all 4 subjects (Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, and Combinatorics).
No, Level 2 will not be easy for you. In this class, we cover techniques used to solve medium to hard AMC10/12 problems and medium-level AIME questions (5-8).
The goals and the content covered in Level 3 and 4A are completely different. Level 3 focuses on computational math and will help students improve their AIME scores. Level 4A is intro to proof writing that will help students improve their performance on contests such as USA(J)MO.
